The Gas-Rover™ can be used for leak surveys- on foot or by vehicle- as well as a CGI, including bar-holing, and when equipped with appropriate optional sensors, for CO, H2S and O2 monitoring. Its sensitivity and speed of response are comparable to conventional FIDs (1-2 ppm, less than 2 seconds), and its other characteristics similar to conventional CGIs. The Gas-Rover is lightweight (24 oz, can be worn on a belt), it automatically stores calibration data, it logs operating data (stored readings are time and mode stamped and alarm events are easily recognizable), it is field serviceable, and has low start up and operating costs. And since it is primarily an electronic device, it has the amenities of such instruments, for example, a large LCD display with messages in English, including a manual stored on board, and a full complement of diagnostics to insure reliable operation.

A durable yet lightweight, ergonomic package that can be carried or worn on the belt that has the largest, easiest to read LCD screen in the industry. This allows all gases being monitored to be displayed simultaneously along with an automatic backlight feature. Alarm limits can be set to company standards in house and alarms can be muted with the touch of a button.

The Gas-Ranger™ all-weather, Gas-Ranger detectors, specifically designed for gas and other utility personnel, can be used to track gas leaks, bar-hole, and to monitor ambient air for natural gas and methane. Two types of natural gas sensors, a built-in 2 liter/minute pump, and microprocessor control provides accurate and fast gas readings. The Gas-Ranger is used for bar holing and quick leak location. Now you can carry one detector and do the whole job both indoors and outdoors Bar hole gas measurements are made easily and consistently with the detector's built-in pump, automatic timer and memory. The unit alerts audibly and visually (e.g. GAS ) when levels of gas are detected over the alarm limits. All models have a TRACK GAS scale for quick leak locating sensitive to 0.005% GAS (0.1% LEL or 50 ppm).

The Gas-Sentry Developed with support from the Gas Research Institute (GRI), these multifunctional detectors are accurate, fast, and can be calibrated automatically. These multi sensor gas detectors, developed with support from the Gas Research Institute (GRI), combine in a compact rugged instrument a dual scale natural gas and methane detector and leak locator to cover a wide range of outdoor and indoor applications.

Automatic calibration is a standard feature built into all Gas-Sentry detectors. Using Bascom-Turner's calibration gas, delivered either manually or by an automatic gas dispenser, detectors are automatically calibrated in about 30 seconds.

The Sentry, like all Bascom-Turner products, automatically select the optimal sensor (catalytic combustion or thermal conductivity) for highest accuracy and read percent gas over the full range (0.03 to 100%). A fast TRACK GAS scale helps locate gas leaks quickly. The optional gooseneck probe can increase the speed or the TRACK GAS scale and the 100 ppm option can increase the sensitivity of this scale.
