HARDWARE EXTENSIONS AND SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
At Bascom-Turner, we continue to develop ways to help our customers get their work done safely and efficiently. Leveraging our many years of industry experience, we have developed specialized hardware and software suites to support user, management and compliance needs.
ETHANE DETECTION
Ethane detection kits are available for Gas-Rover and Gas-Explorer detectors, and allow users to accurately verify the presence or absence of Ethane in a combustible gas sample. The testing process is simple and fully automatic. The entire process takes approximately two minutes and can be used on samples containing as little as 0.5% gas. The result is either “Ethane Detected” or “Ethane Not Detected”.
NCAL: CALIBRATION AND MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
NCal4Access software is included with the purchase of any docking station. It allows users to view and manage detector information, including calibration records, readings data and sensor sensitivity reports. DATALINK: VIEW AND MANAGE READINGS AND MORE
DataLink software is freely available to all our customers. It allows Gas-Rover and Gas-Explore users to download and review readings and calibration data, view GPS surveys on Google Earth or export as kml files for viewing on other platforms, manage unit data and update software, view bar hole and ethane reports, and more.
GPS AND BLUETOOTH
Any Gas-Rover or Gas-Explorer Detector can be equipped with GPS and/or Bluetooth. GPS-equipped detectors store position data along with date and time stamped readings data; this data can be downloaded and displayed on Google Earth, or exported as a kml file for use with third-party applications. Bluetooth allows easy docking and data transfer, including to an Android mobile device using our BTIMobile Software.
